Mrs. Fletcher: Librarian
SCE Library Mission Statement
The Stewarts Creek Elementary School library media program is to ensure that students and staff are effective users of ideas and information. This mission is accomplished by providing intellectual and physical access to materials in all formats; by providing instruction to foster competence and stimulate interests in reading, viewing, and using information and ideas; and by working with other educators to design learning strategies to meet the needs of individual students. Student needs are determined by data driven testing. The LMS uses this information to guide instruction and meet the needs of students.

Library Agreement
This form is provided with your registration paperwork at the beginning of the school year.
If signed, you agree to the following terms:
I understand that it is my responsibility to take care of any books or materials that I checkout from the Stewarts Creek Elementary Library. I agree to return books on time and in the condition in which I found them. I understand and agree that it is my responsibility to pay for any books or materials that are lost or damaged while I have them checked out. If I fail to meet my responsibilities, my patron privileges at the Stewarts Creek Elementary Library will be taken away indefinitely. If I move without returning library books, my new school will be notified. If books or book fines are still outstanding at the end of the year, students will not receive their report cards and the record will follow them to the following school year. In the event that you pay for your book and then find it, a full refund will be issued for the first occurrence if the book is found within the school year. All additional incidents will result in no refund.
